Results
By demonstrating market, financial, and regulatory viability, the report spawned two additional grants to advance research and development: a $1M United States Economic Development Administration grant for pre-manufactured low-cost tribal housing, and a $105,000 Washington Department of Commerce grant to certify and pre-approve a CLT design in Seattle’s growing ADU market. Off-site home construction with CLT products is entering the mainstream fast.
